Stanley, Idaho: Put your dancing shoes on for the Sawtooth Music Festival!
Summer is nearly in full swing in Stanley, Idaho. After a drawn-out cold spring temperatures have warmed and the familiar sight of rafts, drift boats, and river folks have trickled into town. When the sun is out there is no better place to be than Stanley, Idaho and this year the two most popular days of the year will be July 29th and 30th.
Get ready to dance the night away during the annual Sawtooth Music Festival. Slated for July 29th and 30th, the music festival will celebrate its seventh year in Stanley. Originated by local river guides, the Sawtooth Music Festival is run entirely by volunteers who travel from all parts of the country to attend the event.
Each year a local non-profit is chosen as the festival beneficiary. This years’ beneficiary is the Stanley School Parents’ Association. The Stanley School is a small two-room Kindergarten-through-8th Grade schoolhouse located at the foot of the Sawtooth Mountains.
The line-up for the festival includes: Langhorne Slim, Viva Voce, More Than Lights, Screen Door Porch, Fox Street All Stars, Shook Twins, Jonathan Warren and The Billygoats, Sera Cahoone, Blvd Park, Panhandle Polecats, New Transit, Free Peoples, and Fire Kittens.
